Pit mounting

For industrial lifting applications, a very common solution is to install a lifting table in a pit. The lifting table is installed below floor level so that the platform sits flush with the surrounding floor when fully lowered. This makes transition from the lifting table to the working environment smooth, safe, accessible and operationally efficient.

Pit mounted lifting tables are widely used in warehouses, production facilities, loading bays, logistics centres and assembly areas where goods, pallets, roll cages and wheeled equipment are regularly moved across the platform.

Above ground lifting tables continue to be the right solution for many applications but often a pit installation provides significant operational advantages where material flow and accessibility are important considerations.
