Goal post
A goal post, also called a post barrier, is an extra precaution that can be set onto the lifting table to warn other users that the platform is at the lower level and make sure that no one falls onto the platform.
This type of accessory can only be used in certain circumstances in non-public areas and if the fall from the top to the bottom layer is between 0,5 – 1,6 meters.
Advantages
- Prevents fall onto the lowered platform: The barrier closes off the open edges of the platform when it descends, enhancing safety and reducing the risk of falls.
- Easy access when raised: When the lifting table is at the top position the goal post structure allows free access from the platform ensuring the workflow.
- Can be customised: The height and spacing of posts can be adapted to match the table’s travel range, clearances, and safety regulations.
