Space-saving goods lift enables supermarket in new building

Efficient goods handling in compact construction

A construction company was building a new property with a supermarket on the ground floor and apartments above. The supermarket required efficient logistics for both incoming and outgoing goods. TRANSLYFT quickly delivered a compact, customised goods lift that made the operation of the supermarket possible – all within the limited space available in the architectural design.

  • The challenge

How do you install an efficient goods lift in a building with very limited space?

The project depended on the supermarket being able to receive and dispatch goods via the basement. The goods lift had to be placed next to an integrated garage for residents – leaving very little space. The shaft had to fit perfectly into the structure while handling daily deliveries.

  • The solution

Customised goods lift with high capacity and small footprint

TRANSLYFT delivered a compact goods lift tailored to the building company’s specifications. The shaft was adapted to fit the structure, and the lift is approved for transporting goods and up to two operators – with a lifting capacity of up to 2000 kg.

The lift serves as the supermarket’s main logistics access – for deliveries, waste, bottles, and more.

  • The results

Reliable solution ensures supermarket operation – satisfying both client and constructor

The supermarket now runs smoothly with daily deliveries, thanks to the reliable lift. It is used at least three hours every day and has streamlined staff workflows.

“We are very happy with the lift. It runs every day, and it’s great to know we can always call TRANSLYFT if anything happens.”
