Orders
Are accepted by TRANSLYFT / LIFTING TECHNOLOGY LTD from the buyer subject to these conditions of sale only, unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing.
Retention of Ownership
Title of goods is reserved by TRANSLYFT/ LIFTING TECHNOLOGY LTD until full payment is received. Responsibility for maintenance and insurance passes to the buyer on delivery. Until full payment has been made TRANSLYFT / LIFTING TECHNOLOGY LTD may at any time recover the goods and may enter the Buyers premises for this purpose, after giving notice of intention to repossess. The Buyer or his representative may not re-sell the goods which title is retained, unless he informs TRANSLYFT / LIFTING TECHNOLOGY LTD in writing and also any third party concerned in their use or re-sale.
Returns
Goods may not be returned to us unless agreed by us in writing and returned unused, subject to a handling charge and at the buyer’s expense. Goods specifically made or adapted for the buyer may not be returned. Goods returned without authorization will not be accepted.
Claims
Notification of non-delivery must be made in writing within 10 day of invoice date and for shortage or damage within 3 days of receipt and the Carrier also notified in writing, in addition to endorsement of the Carriers delivery note.
Certification and Conformity
All TRANSLYFT lifting tables are CE marked and are in conformity with the provisions of:
- Machinery Directive 98/37/EC
- Low Tension Directive 73/23/EC
- Electromagnetic compatibility Directive 89/336/EC
The following harmonized standards are applied:
- EN1570-1+A1:2014 safety requirements for lifting tables
In certain applications there may be remote guards and barriers or gates which will be interlocked to the lift which will conform to:
- Requirements for Electrical equipment of machines EN60204
- Requirements for guards and interlocks EN953, EN1088
Warranty
Standard warranty applies on all parts and labour for one year from date of delivery for failure of the lift or any of its parts during normal working conditions (as laid out in the “Process” within the specification of the quotation and subsequent order)
Damage or failure of lifts or their components are not covered in case of misuse or abuse and will be charged at for at the current rates of the time of call out including any parts at the current List Prices
Frivolous call outs do not apply and will be charged for at the applicable rate
Process
Lift tables supplied are specified for processes as described within the quotation
Proposed changes to the agreed Process must be submitted by the user to TRANSLYFT / Lifting Technology in writing and agreed between both parties in order for the warranty to be valid for lifts under warranty or warranty extensions
Proposed changes to the agreed Process must be submitted by the user to TRANSLYFT / Lifting Technology in writing and agreed between both parties in order for mechanical and safety criteria to be met before re commissioning
TRANSLYFT / Lifting Technology will provide written quotations for any extra work required to make lifts fit for purpose for a change in Process
