Roller blinds

Translyft offers roller curtains that are a good safety barrier for lifting tables and lifting platforms. The roller curtain, fitted around the scissor mechanism, provides a physical guard to help prevent workers from reaching hazardous moving parts during operation.

The roller curtain also protects the scissor mechanism of the lifting table from dirt, debris and accidental impact, but its main function is to increase the safety of the operator by minimizing the possibility of entrapment and clambing incidents. The curtain limits access under the platform and surrounding the moving scissor and keeps operators and bystanders at a safe distance while the lifting table is moving.

The roller curtain automatically expands and retracts with the lifting platform movement and ensures continuous protection during the entire lifting cycle without hindering the operation.

Roller curtain lifting tables are commonly used in production plants, warehouses, logistics centres, assembly areas and other industrial environments where personnel often work in close proximity to lifting equipment and where extra guarding around the scissor mechanism is required for the achievement of workplace safety objectives.
